This is just my opinion about mind map and scripting. Any discussion is always accepted gladlyMind map ! this phrase is not strange anymore. This is a thinking tool that people have been using for long time, specially "mind map" phrase became popular since Tony Buzan collect and wrote some famous book that help everyone can understand more about mind map and know how to apply this tool into normal life.
I wonder if we can apply this tool to scripting ?
1.mindmap definitionFirst of all, we should take a look at mind map definition. Don’t be scare ! this definition was taken from wikipedia :
“A mind map is a diagram used to represent words, ideas, tasks, or other items linked to and arranged radially around a central key word or idea. Mind maps are used to generate, visualize, structure, and classify ideas, and as an aid in study, organization, problem solving, decision making, and writing.”

keyword, this is main base of mind map theory, and everything is called key data can be keyword, even more they can be just an idea.
On the other side of mind map,
connections are unsung heroes, this is the way of thinking, or just some additional fact encourage people think and the most important thing is connection take mission that link relational keyword together
2.The dark side : mindmap got some bad point and how to fixBased on two most important characteristics, I thought mind map theory would be broken if we don’t have desirable, happy, useful keyword and connection

dark side of keyword: bad keywords don’t give you an active mind for remember and understand data that you mapped in mind map. This bad keyword also don’t support someone try to apply map for daily usage

dark side of connection: if you did not have active mind or the way of thinking that would be a big problem. You will be lost in the complicated matrix map as soon as you lost your connection, without connections the link between relational keywords will be broken
How to fix:- Collect appropriate data that we need, don’t waste time for stupid data that does not make any sense. This is the way we gather more keyword and get more idea
- take it easy! Don’t be serious blogger all the time, there’re a lot of important things out there but we don’t need face them as the way we face big problem, keep your mind sprightly
3. Apply mindmap for scripting (film,movies)I have not taken any film making course. So these idea below are just my opinions, I got them based on my watching movies experience. Once again, any discussion is always accepted gladly
- Keyword:
+ In movies, some main event lead the story of script, the other fact was supporting detail for storyboard. On mind map, we can use big node as main event and let the sub node portray additional fact in storyboard
+ We can find the right way to arrange event, subordinate fact to guide the way that audience feel
+ Instead of describing storyboard on traditional horizontal (vertical) timeline, mind map can be allied to storyboard; especially we can manage all events better and never forgotten anything.

Connection:
+ Some scene, dialog, word or small fact that guide the process of story development, they can guide the way of audience’s feeling
+ We can add and arrange some secondary fact such as environment, character’s emotions, funny dialog, that support audience’s feeling
